Redundancy in Video Conferencing Polycom Real-presence system
Problem Domain: We had 2 public ip from mtnl and airtel and wanted to dial out from 2 MCU in isolation like mcu1 will bind to mtnl and mcu2 bind 2 airtel maintaining the redundancy of full system. Dial in was also achieved.
Equipments: 2 MCU - Polycom RMX 4000
2 Polycom Resource Manager
2 Polycom DMA 7000
2 Polycom RPAD for public IP
Following configuration was achieved:
Following setting was done in Resource Manager > Network topology. Sites for both mcu created to bind them with public ip.
New Sites: RPAD1, RPAD2 , RMX Site1 and 2
